The Bear is about to begin filming season 3 in Chicago. The extras casting directors for the show are seeking to fill various paid extras roles in the award winning television series.

If you’re interested in being a part of the most popular series streaming on Hulu, the instructions for becoming an extra are very specific.

About The Bear:

Despite the challenges, Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) embarks on a journey of transformation, both for the shop and himself, finding unexpected solace and support in his unconventional kitchen crew, who gradually become his chosen family. As he strives to breathe new life into the struggling establishment, Carmy grapples with grief, redemption, and the healing power of community in this heartwarming comedy-drama.

Here’s all the info for becoming an extra on The Bear:

ROLE: AIRPLANE PERSONNEL

WORKING DATES: MARCH 12, 2024

UPCOMING DATES: There will be a fitting for this role! It will be on 3/6, 3/7, 3/8, or 3/11

LOCATION: Chicagoland Area

FILMING RATE: $175/8 hrs

FITTING RATE: $63.20/4 hrs

LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO FIT THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION:

AGES: 22-65

MALE

ETHNICITY: CHINESE, KOREAN, JAPANESE

HEIGHT: 5’10” or taller

1) Confirm you have a POP Profile.

2) Include the following information: Name, phone, email, and a photo of your current look for quick reference.

3) Please also include the following measurements: Jacket, neck, sleeve, waist, inseam, and shoe

3) Attach a candid photo AND a full body in JPEG format. Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting.

4) Indicate your mode of transportation to get to set, i.e. Uber, Bus, Own Vehicle, etc.

5) Please let us know what your general availability looks like. (I.e. limited, flexible, open)

6) Confirm that you have a valid State ID or Passport.

7) Please list at least 2 dates that you are available for a fitting(3/6, 3/7, 3/8, or 3/11), and confirm that you can work the filming date (3/12).

You will receive an availability check through POP if you are in consideration. Please respond quickly.

If you are selected, you will receive an official booking email and must complete all of the questions attached to that email.

DO NOT SHOW UP UNLESS YOU RECEIVE A BOOKING EMAIL.
