This position will provide direct support to the Client Contact team, Marketing Executives, and support daily operations. In this role, you will be a communication facilitator, dealing with both external and internal clients to ensure the customer experience is optimized.

Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with new and existing clients to promote Panavision and its products and services.
Perform all duties related to the rental of equipment; create orders, schedule equipment, contact production for insurance and contracts obtain purchase orders.
Arrange for the sub-hire or branch transfer of equipment needed to support project or client. Ensure Operations is kept up to date at all times concerning sub-rented equipment. Manage return of all sub-hired equipment.
Track the status of outgoing and incoming equipment and maintain accurate and timely records in the rental system.
Be proactive on all client or equipment related issues.
Upsell equipment and services IE workflow gear
Maintain effective, timely and accurate communication with internal departments to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. Ensure client, equipment and project information is accurate.
Work closely with Marketing Executives to ensure correct equipment is scheduled.
Resolve equipment conflicts, shortages and assist in securing missing items.
2ND Unit Orders create new production units-quotes, insurance, PO, revised PO/estimates, outstanding equipment lists, crew gear quotes, billing adjustments
Assist with logistics and other administrative duties
Other duties as assigned

Skills/Experience Required
Dynamic team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Well-organized self-starter with strong follow-through skills and attention to detail.
Maintains effectiveness under pressure, within tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Minimum 1 year in the rental department or equivalent
Good knowledge of all Panavision products and services.

Position: Creative Workforce Coordinator
The FSM Creative Workforce Coordinator (CWC) plays a key role in the development and support of Free Spirit Media’s emerging creative young adults. The CWC is a member of the Industry Pathways program team — FSM’s creative workforce development initiative that provides underrepresented emerging media-makers ages 18-25 with opportunities for professional development, production and skills training, mentorship and work placement.

This dynamic individual will lead the professional development, career and internship support services, and individual engagement of FSM Industry Pathways participants, as well as the outreach and career-related programming efforts for FSM’s In-school and Civic programs. The CWC will maintain a case management strategy to ensure that participants level up through the career progression timeline, reaching the highest aspirations in their creative career trajectory. The CWC is a mentor, administrator, advocate, coach, event planner and professional role model. To be successful, the CWC needs to be an expert relationship builder, who can access and leverage resources to connect FSM young adults to meaningful opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Overseeing Industry Pathways member administration through onboarding and orientation of new participants; tracking experience, engagement and progression in our participant database and managing administrative records required for program and partner needs.
· Work with Industry Pathways Associate and Outreach Ambassador to facilitate communicationchannels, materials and networks (social, newsletter, blog, etc.) to engage Industry Pathways participants in opportunities and resources.
· Plan and execute Chicago Track Workshops (Fall-Winter) and other professional development and training opportunities.
· Oversee outreach and career services to participants in other Free Spirit Media programs, including but not limited to: In-School, The Real Chicago, News South, News West and Hoops High.
· Builds partnerships with local film, TV and media employers in support of internship and learning opportunities.

· Work with Program Manager to support program design, event coordination, and community and partner engagement.

· Support collection and organization of evaluation data collection, surveys and assist in preparation of grant and organizational required reporting.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree with two to three years of full-time experience advising students, preferably in a career services or workforce development setting required.

Position: Program Coordinator, THE REAL CHI
The Program Coordinator for THE REAL CHI is a dynamic staff person who is the lead administrator and manager of a newsroom producing a weekly digital news site, THE REAL CHI: Community News from Free Spirit Media. Serving emerging journalists, age 18-24, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall news content and educational value of the newsroom and is dedicated to clearly setting and communicating editorial strategies, goals, curriculum and assessments.

The Program Coordinator for THE REAL CHI is also the manager of the Free Spirit Media Open Lab. The Open Lab space exists to provide access to cutting edge technology software and equipment. Through Open Lab, the program coordinator is responsible for coordinating FSM’s Semi-Pro special project initiatives and filtering opportunities to qualified Open Lab participants who engage in freelance work. The Program Coordinator also supports participants who engage in producing independent work in this space.

The Program Coordinator has deep roots in community journalism with strong ties to specific coverage areas. THE REAL CHI aims to produce in-depth, solutions-oriented community journalism dedicated to covering black and brown communities on the South and West Side of Chicago, centered in the North Lawndale community and including Austin, Garfield Park and Little Village.

The Program Coordinator leads the editorial team in developing beat coverage strategies to find and produce hyper-local, relevant news stories, breaking news stories, human-interest features and investigative journalism pieces in the print/web, audio and video mediums. The news crews create media using DSLR camera packages and Final Cut Pro editing software.

The Program Coordinator for THE REAL CHI demonstrates strength in youth advocacy and workforce development. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for building pathways for emerging journalists from Free Spirit Media’s beginner-level programs and the larger community into THE REAL CHI’s newsroom and potentially on to jobs in the media industry. Additionally, the Program Coordinator is able to spark creativity, confidence and leadership through journalism and video production.

The Program Coordinator is astute at networking and is able to maintain and build partnerships that expand FSM’s journalism portfolio. The Program Coordinator is a team player who can maintain focus, perspective, attitude and attention to detail in a fast-paced, creative and young adult driven environment.

The Industry Pathways Program Associate serves in several capacities with Free Spirit Media. Primary Responsibilities:

· Work with Industry Pathways team to plan and execute Chicago Track Workshops, Industry Pathways Cohort Training and Flash Forward programs, assisting recruitment, enrollment, and professional development support services and supporting in program design, event coordination, community and partner engagement and evaluation.
· Work with Creative Workforce Coordinator to execute case management strategy to provide support to current members, alumni and fellows pursuing short term and long term employment opportunities and reaching personal and professional goals.
· Work with Creative Workforce Coordinator to plan and execute Professional Development workshops (resume, job and interview preparedness, personal pitching) for Industry Pathways, Flash Forward and other FSM programs throughout the year.

Marketing Manager
Chicago Filmmakers is a 45 year-old not-for-profit media arts organization that fosters the creation, appreciation and understanding of film and video as media for artistic and personal expression, as well as media of social and community impact. Chicago Filmmakers operates a weekly screening program, offers classes in various aspects of film and digital video production for adults and youth, provides a range of services and resources for independent media artists, awards digital video production grants, and produces two film festivals.

Chicago Filmmakers recently relocated to a firehouse that the organization purchased from the city and renovated over the last few years, making this an exciting time for the organization to develop fresh branding materials and marketing strategies.

POSITION: Marketing Manager
This position is responsible for managing the successful execution of a variety of marketing and fundraising campaigns around Chicago Filmmakers’ programs and services.

STATUS: Full-time

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote public awareness of Chicago Filmmakers’ programs and services through the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan to reach prospective students, audiences, filmmakers, grant applicants, and other constituencies that Chicago Filmmakers serves.

Build community engagement with existing and new constituencies and manage ongoing communications with stakeholders through e-newsletters, social media networks, and community meetings and events.

Cultivate new relationships with outside organizations and investigate new opportunities for strategic partnerships or collaborations.

Produce marketing collateral for the organization and its programs, and manage content and branding for the organization’s websites and social media platforms on an ongoing basis.

Raise funds through developing and implementing new strategies for expanding individual giving and corporate/business support, including designing, planning, and coordinating membership drives, donor appeals, fundraising events, and other fundraising campaigns.

Research, identify, and solicit, corporate and business sponsorships, including both in-kind and cash sponsors, and oversee sponsorship activation.

Manage relationships and communications with stakeholders, including members, donors, sponsors, and strategic partners, and maintain donor, member and sponsor records and databases. Work with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to optimize their roles in identifying, cultivating, and soliciting new donors.

Track and report on data; collect and analyze metrics and prepare marketing and fundraising reports for internal and external use.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Chicago Filmmakers seeks to hire a dynamic, creative, forward-thinking, and deadline-oriented person who is enthusiastic about the mission of Chicago Filmmakers.

• Degree in marketing or fundraising, or commensurate experience
• Demonstrated success in generating earned income and/or contributions
• Experience with event management
• Working knowledge of social media platforms required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High level of comfort with donor interactions and meeting presentations
• Strong knowledge of social media
• Excellent organizational, analytical, time management, and program management skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and to set priorities
• Experience working in the non-profit environment
• Proficient in use of MS Office suite
• Familiarity with donor database management software a plus
• Familiarity with data and campaign performance analysis beneficial
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator desired
• Good sense of design and experience working with graphic designers as well as generating own design work when necessary
