FX chairman John Landgraf revealed to Variety that Season 3 of The Bear will premiere in June.

As The Bear begins to prepare for filming Season 3 in Chicago with a startup date of February 26, Landgraf had little to share when asked about the chance of seeing more celebrity guest stars in the new season, stating that the now famous Season 2 Christmas episode was a actually a surprise to him.

He was however able to share that Hulu will drop all episodes at once rather than week-to-week.

The Bear has emerged as a resounding success for FX, captivating a substantial audience across both seasons. Season 1 garnered significant acclaim, securing 10 Emmys. Among the wins were Best Comedy Series, Best Lead Comedy Actor awarded to Jeremy Allen White, Best Supporting Comedy Actor for Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Best Supporting Comedy Actress for Ayo Edebiri.

Season 2 has swiftly followed suit, claiming top honors at both the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards for White, Edebiri, and the series as a whole. Moss-Bachrach also clinched a Critics Choice Award for his exceptional performance.

Speaking to Variety in December, White said he felt that season 3 would return to the “functioning kitchen atmosphere that we had in the first [season].”
