“This production was a long time coming,” said Tyler Jay. Two days before filming back in March, COVID shut it down, on the day of the pre-pro meeting. Then, mid-August hit and it was back on. With one small problem: due to travel restrictions and safety concerns, the production needed a new city, a new cast, new location, and an entirely new remote solutions to get it all done — in 4 weeks.
With budgets and timelines getting smaller and expectations for premium productions staying the same, it was a real challenge for all parties involved to come out with a win.
Client’s want an ROI. Creatives want the world. Production companies want to hit it out of the park without sacrificing safety for their cast and crew.
