Tonight Chicago Fire returns to original episodes and while NBC has not released an official synopsis, we do have hints from the exclusive pics.
One thing Chicago viewers can be assured about is Lieutenant Greg Grainger (recurring guest star Jon-Michael Ecker) is still temporarily working at Firehouse 51.
Grainger is the firefighter who was immediately smitten with Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) when they met a few episodes ago. Brett formally Grainger asked out in the most recent episode.
But what about the rest of the Firehouse 51 Squad? Well, these photos below tell us they will be dealing with a serious accident focused on an overturned car. And there will be a house fire. Look below:

Chicago Fire airs Wednesday (as if you didn’t know it) at 8 PM CST on NBC 5.
NBC‘s streaming service Peacock is now showing every season of ChicagoFire, although you have to pay for a Peacock Premium subscription. So if you need to catch up, you now have at least one option.
