OKRP announces four promotions in Chicago

Ben Pfutzenreuter and Matt McNulty promoted to ECD, Anna Kate Roche to lead creative efforts across socials, Christina Nguyen promoted to EP

Leading independent creative agency OKRP announced that it is promoting Ben Pfutzenreuter and Matt McNulty to Executive Creative Directors following a year in which the duo has overseen award winning and sales generating work for client Burger King.

In addition to driving results for BK, Ben and Matt also helped the agency land new AOR assignments for Metro by T-Mobile, and other major accounts.

“Ben and Matt came here and made an immediate positive impact on our work and culture,” explained Tom O’Keefe, CEO of OKRP. “As creative leaders they support and energize the teams they work with, and help everyone bring their best ideas to the table.”

Ben and Matt joined OKRP a year-ago after winning the Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions festival for their work on Wingstop. At OKRP they oversee a team of twenty creatives. They have also helped the agency refresh its own brand positioning – to “put the soul in the sale” – a celebration of how OKRP brings creativity to business results.

In a move to build on its growing work in social media content creation, OKRP is creating a new role for agency Group Creative Director Anna Kate Roche. In this new role, Anna Kate will lead OKRP’s creative efforts across all social media channels. The agency has invested in bringing in strategic, creative and production resources to deliver original social content to clients that meets their needs for quick to market work, executed in many different ways.

“Anna Kate has driven exceptional work for many OKRP clients and we’re excited to create a new role that taps into her true specialty – creating work in social channels that drives engagement,” said Tom O’Keefe.

Also reflective of the agency’s growth is the expansion of its independent production arm, Putney and the promotion of Christina Nguyen to the role of Executive Producer.

“Christina is the smile you didn’t know was missing until you saw it and now you can’t help smiling yourself,” said Elena Robinson, Putney CEO. “She brings a level of commitment and dedication to detail to every project that allows you to sit back and enjoy the creative process.”

OKRP has added numerous new clients and assignments to the agency’s roster in 2023, following its win of the Burger King account in 2022. New clients include Metro by T-Mobile, Michael’s Stores, AliExpress and others.
