Mayor puts foot down in witty new PSAs from Havas

(Mayor urges Chicagoans to stay home)

Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot is educating the City of Chicago on how she’s staying home and saving lives through baking, decorating, playing music and sipping tea. Through a series of PSAs the Mayor promotes home activities and social distancing as cities across the country move to bend the curve of the pandemic.

To produce these video shorts, the Mayor’s Office teamed up with Chicago advertising agency, Havas, which worked pro-bono to create videos for use as another tool to engage hard to reach Chicagoans with practical public health tips.

The 2:48-minute video begins with a line that says, “Here are few simple messages from Mayor Lori Lightfoot.” We then see the Mayor in a series of different roles, from the very serious “The Analyst” to “The Baker” to the “Baller” to “The Astrologer” to “The Realist,” all delivering the message, “Stay Home. Save Lives.”  Watch below:
