Jeep teases Super Bowl with lizard and flamingo

Stellantis has announced that both the Jeep and Ram brands will have 60-second advertisements during Super Bowl LVII, being played on Sunday, February 12th between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Best of all, the brief press release explained exactly what both commercials would run during the broadcast of the game, so if you aren’t really into football, but you do want to see the newest Jeep and Ram commercials, you can do so simply be paying some attention to the progression of the game.

Now Jeep is teasing the spot today with a lizard. In a social media post, the critter is shown at a mixing board, tongue in full motion.

But what about the flamingos?

For the last three years Highdive has won the USA Today’s Admeter. Last year, the agency scored big for its Rocket Mortgage Barbie Dream House spot with Anna Kedrick.

In the same year, Jeep released a spot called Earth Odyssey, from Highdive. Featuring animals, the spot synched its electric vehicles with animal noises to the theme song from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The spot was beloved by viewers and Reel Chicago.

In 2021, the agency’s two 60-second Super Bowl LV spots for Quicken’s Rocket Mortgage were ranked number one and two.

In 2020, Highdive scored the number one spot with Jeep. The spot featured a recreation of the hit romcom, Groundhog Day, and brought back Bill Murray as self-centered weatherman Phil Connors.

The Super Bowl, featuring The Philadelphia Eagles vs. The Kansas City Chiefs, will kick off Sunday, February 12 at 5:30 CST.
