FILMING THIS MONTH:
Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, The Chi, Deli Boys, Emperor of Ocean Park, The Bear, Power Book IV: Force, and soon to start up Somebody Somewhere, with more to be announced.
2024 looks to be one of our best years for production. In addition to the TV shows mentioned, feature length movies are also seeking out Chicago for filming. The constant evaluation of the state’s tax credits for film production means that Chicago is becoming more and more attractive to producers.
As the Chicago film industry continues to grow, so does the need for stage space.

The IATSE contract renewal date of July 31 is the last hurdle ahead of us. Both sides are focused on a quick resolution. The studios and unions alike want to avoid another strike. The hope is to start talks early and come to an agreement long before the deadline.
