Patrick Lives On Film Showcase & Fundraiser was huge success

The 7th Annual Patrick Lives On Film Showcase and Fundraiser, sponsored and hosted by Resolution Studios was a huge success.

Held on Saturday, February 24, the annual event raised over $35,000 to help fund their ongoing after school program, providing teens with extra-curricular activities.

“Once again, Resolution Studios did a fantastic job,” said Patricia Frontain, Founder and President of Patrick Lives On. “We are thrilled they continue to open their doors & hearts to host our event each year. Additional sponsors include Cinespace Studios, Rivers Casino, AICP Midwest, Daily Planet Productions, CineCity Studios, and The Alex A. Pissios Family Foundation.”

Over three hundred people were in attendance. All enjoyed the food provided by Ferrara’s Bakery, Eli’s Cheesecake and Buono Beef along with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks.

The audience enjoyed a variety of film projects including short dramas & comedies, animation, PSAs and several documentaries.

Many raffle prizes were won, including the two $10,000 camera rental packages from Panavision Chicago and Keslow Chicago along with certificates for post sound, post music, stage rentals, acting classes and much more!

Patrick Lives On was established in April, 2016. In the 8 years since it began, the organization developed into an active non-profit, helping hundreds of teens attend the after school activity of their choice. The 7th Annual Film Showcase & Fundraiser will make it possible for Patricia and Patrick Lives On to continue their mission.

The fundraiser is also a way to network with the local Chicago Film Industry professionals all while helping a great cause. If you missed it this year, you won’t want to miss it in 2025! For more information and to donate to the cause,  please visit here.
