Mustached stars team up to rescue Game Day Pringles

‘Stache up! For Super Bowl LIX, Pringles is taking snack rescues to new heights—literally. With a cast featuring Adam Brody, Nick Offerman, James Harden, and Kansas City Chiefs’ coach Andy Reid, the brand’s latest campaign, Call of the Mustaches, imagines a world where the most iconic mustaches in pop culture answer the call when a game day snack emergency strikes.

As one of the most recognizable mustachioed mascots in the snack aisle, Mr. P is leading the charge in this bizarre ad, where mustaches don’t just sit on faces—they take flight. In a wonderfully weird twist, football fans run out of Pringles at the worst possible moment, but all hope isn’t lost. Thanks to the power of facial hair, mustaches soar through the sky, restocking supplies just in time for the Big Game.

The 30-second commercial, created by FCB New York, will air at the end of the second quarter, marking Pringles’ eighth consecutive Super Bowl campaign. Fans got an early tease of the ad when Pringles dropped shadowy mustached silhouettes on social media, inviting followers to guess the celebrity cast. After much speculation, the lineup was confirmed, with Andy Reid’s surprise appearance making waves as the Chiefs’ head coach heads into his seventh Super Bowl. Watch below:

Sarah Reinecke, U.S. Vice President of Marketing at Chicago-based Kellanova, explained that the campaign is all about leaning into the power of iconic ‘staches. “With Mr. P on every can, Pringles has the strongest mustache in the snack aisle. This year, we’re harnessing some of the most legendary mustaches in pop culture to take our crisps to new heights—literally.”

“Every year, when people run out of Pringles on game day, the mustaches heed the call of Mr. P and take flight. We at FCB were incredibly fortunate to capture this magical migration for the world to witness—and laugh at,” said Michael Aimette, Chief Creative Officer at FCB New York.

Adam Brody, who leads the commercial’s storyline, was excited to join the Pringles crew. “Some things everyone wants more of—mustaches and snacks,” Brody said. “It was fun working alongside Nick, James, Andy, and, of course, the most legendary mustache of them all, Mr. P.”

Beyond the ad, Pringles is bringing the mustache mania to digital, retail marketing, influencer campaigns, and social media, ensuring fans can ‘Stache Up’ ahead of game day. Collaborations with creators like Wishbone Kitchen’s Meredith Hayden and celebrity barber Victor Fontanez (@VicBlends) have amplified the buzz, keeping the mustached excitement alive.

Pringles is also rolling out two new flavors and one returning fan favorite to keep the game day spirit going long after the final whistle. Fans can get their hands on Pringles Loaded Potato Skins and the returning Pringles 7-Layer Dip beginning in late February. In May, the brand will launch a Pringles x Miller Lite Beer Can Chicken flavor nationwide.

For those looking to avoid a last-minute snack run, Pringles urges fans to ‘Stache Up’ on their favorite crisps before Super Bowl Sunday.
