Demo Duck has welcomed Jake Allen as a new ACD as they continue to make a variety of advancements and new hires.
Allen is a Chicago native who graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design, and brings his rich experience in design, motion graphics, and 2D and 3D animation to the Demo Duck team—along with a passion for educating and mentoring fellow creatives. Allen’s versatile skill set fits in great with Demo Duck’s ability to shift styles and production approaches to fit the needs of clients.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jake to our creative team,” said Laura Irons, Director of Partnerships. “For nearly 12 years, we’ve been consistently growing our internal group to deliver custom videos to fit a brand’s unique needs and brand style. Jake’s deep knowledge of animation techniques, especially 3D, is an exciting addition to our core capabilities.”
Previously, Allen worked as a Senior 3D Designer/Animator for Sarofsky. He also worked as a staff 3D Artist and Motion Designer for Odd Machine, and recently was working as a freelancer. Allen is fluent in a variety of tools including Cinema 4D, Houdini, Realflow, Maya and more. The ACD role with Demo Duck creates an opportunity for Allen to mentor and coach other members of the team.
“Demo Duck seemed like a great fit—both the people and the projects,” said Allen. “Not only do I get to help design, animate and execute, but I also get to share some of the knowledge I’ve learned throughout my career with the other Ducks. I’m excited to help elevate the company’s ever-growing world of creative animation and live-action productions.”

Along with the addition of Allen, Demo Duck’s internal creative team has seen a variety of advancements and new hires. Kelsie Ozamiz was promoted to Creative Director, Jarrett Hothan was promoted to Associate Creative Director, Chris Reynolds was promoted to Senior Writer and Ossian Menoza was promoted to Senior Art Director. Demo Duck also recently hired Aimé DeLattre as Art Director and Jeffery Lawson as Jr. Art Director.
“These recent hires and internal promotions come on the heels of a recent company rebranding,” said Colin Hogan, Managing Director. “It’s all a part of our goal to evolve the way we work with clients in ways that continue to get them results. And hopefully have a little fun along the way.”
