Chicago-based post house Hootenanny has moved beyond being just a “post house”. The company has rebranded itself, embracing the term “post home” in their new tagline.
“One of the best compliments our clients can give us when they walk in our space is ‘It feels like home.’ We wanted to make that a part of our company branding because it really is an important factor in why people choose Hootenanny,” states Liz Tate, President. “That idea translated into our new tagline: We’re not just your post house. We’re your post home.”
The new tagline also reflects a recent change of venue for the company. Hootenanny moved into a new lofted West Loop space in September 2022 just as clients were starting to return to working in person at editing studios.
Hootenanny partner Jim Annerino adds, “Clients are excited to come in and be a part of the editing process again, and they are loving the feel of our studio. The warmth they feel — be it from the coziness of our space or our welcoming staff — is a defining characteristic of who we are.“
“I think great creative and professional service is a given when you use an independent post studio. Sometimes the difference is in how you are treated as a client. As a boutique studio, we have the ability to give each one of our clients more personal service,” Tate adds.
Hootenanny’s creative editor roster includes Tate, Nikki Vapensky, Sean Halvorsen and Adam Bruno. The facility is overseen by Executive Producer Don Avila and Associate Producer Zoey Danielson. The studio offers creative editorial, motion graphic design, finishing and visual effects.
Hootenanny is a boutique certified woman-owned post-production company founded in 2008 by Liz Tate and Jim Annerino. The core business focus is commercial post-production across all media platforms including television, web, corporate video, and interactive media.
Hootenanny is located at 328 S. Jefferson St Suite 570, Chicago IL 60661
