with four
product-focused spots


 

 
And you thought Havas only did amazing installations. The Chicago agency has kicked off a new advertising campaign for North Olmsted, Ohio-based Moen that can only be described as dramatic and beautiful.

You know, just like water can be.

The #1 faucet brand in North America and Havas Chicago have created a fully-integrated campaign that leans into the insight — water designs our life.

Their take is that water carves our earth, shapes our life, and informs our behavior on a daily basis. With a new :60-second spot, a :30-second cut down and :15 online videos directed by Bjorn Ruhmann of Smuggler, Moen celebrates water as an awesome force of nature that is often overlooked and taken for granted and asks us to see it in a new way.

These spots kick-off the advertising and brand campaign, followed larger initiatives where Moen is shifting the focus of how people think about water in the category. Take a look a the :60 below:

 

 

In the :15 below, Moen shifts the focus and ties and how water is specifically related to each of their products. Here, Moen effortlessly tells a tale of water having a mind of its own and then tying it to their full line of MotionSense Touchless Faucets, making it possible to interact with water on our terms. With a simple wave of the hand

 

 

In this :15 online video, we are told water has always decided when it starts and stops. Now, with “U by Moen,” that decision is up to us. Smart home technology and a digital display allows you to pause your water at the perfect temperature, so when you’re ready, it is too

According to a spokeswoman, Moen even looked at its own category leadership in a new way. It found that just in the United States, more than 1.5 trillion gallons of fresh water flow through Moen products each year.

The spots truly deliver in a dramatic and elegant way. Now I can’t wait to take a shower!
