This must have been a hefty job. Like really hefty. Word has gotten to Reel Chicago that Havas concepted, sold, produced, shot, edited, composed music and sound design, audio mixed, colored and trafficked three Hefty spots in just 2 and a half weeks.
John Norman, Chief Creative Officer at Havas Chicago is energized and encouraged after helping cultivate big, creative ideas from home, finding solutions to pandemic production, and delivering meaningful, socially responsible messages out into the world.
“Start Again” is a heartfelt thank you to the sanitation workers that are continuing to support us all. Havas leaned into local drone videographers in seven cities across the country from Anchorage to Austin, while John Cena recorded the voice over from his home (maintaining social distancing). Produced in 3 days, it truly was a herculean effort.
“Stronger Than You Think” is a personal message from Hefty’s strongman himself, Mr. John Cena. His self-recorded video (which started as a social post) along with curated UGC clips sends a message to the country that we are all “stronger than you think.”
