A bright, fun, and interactive showcase
Based on the book and Tumblr account associated with Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the Notorious RBG exhibit is a bright, fun, and interactive showcase of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s impactful life and transformation from legal scholar to pop culture icon.

Beginning with the story of her Brooklyn childhood, it covers the prejudices and challenges that she faced early in her career and her appointment to the nation’s highest court.

The book’s authors, Irin Carmon and Shana Knizhnik, partnered with Skirball Cultural Center Associate Curator, Cate Thurston, to create the exhibit. They designed the sensation to inspire visitors at all levels, from legal scholar to fangirl, to work towards a more just world by the experience.
