In a city known for its public art installations, from 1999’s iconic Cows on Parade to the infamous Bean and vibrant murals, Comcast Business is following in the tradition of celebrating Chicago’s creative culture with a fresh and technological twist.
Teaming up with four local artists, Comcast Business and Team One have introduced a series of larger-than-life smartphone statues placed in key neighborhoods across the city, blending innovation with art to highlight the essential role of mobile technology for businesses.
Each standing nine feet tall, the statues were installed in prominent neighborhoods: Lincoln Park, Pilsen, The Loop, and Hyde Park. They are on display from September 19th to October 10th, 2024, showcasing each artist’s unique interpretation and spotlighting the significance of mobile technologies in today’s business landscape.
“Our collaboration with these talented artists underscores Comcast Business’s dedication to both technological innovation and community engagement,” said Tracy Pitcher, Senior Vice President of Comcast Business, Central Division. “These statues are an exciting visual celebration of both.”
“Serving local businesses is at the heart of what we do,” noted Jeff Cobb, Vice President of Comcast Business, Greater Chicago Region. “By showcasing these incredible works of art, we’re able to amplify our presence in Chicago and showcase the vital role our mobile solutions play in driving business performance and success.”
