Cinespace holds Cast & Crew Appreciation Day

The Cinespace Team

Cinespace Studios, the production home to many iconic films and television series, hosted a Cast & Crew Appreciation Event on the lot this past Thursday, bringing together over 400 people.

The cast and crew members of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Power Book IV: Force, and The Chi, enjoyed a variety of food, drinks, and exclusive Cinespace swag.

The event featured delectable offerings from Tievoli Pizza Bar, Harold’s Chicken Shack, Woogie Rolls, and Ida’s Artisan Ice Cream. Guests could also savor beverages from Beatrix Coffee Roasters, which has recently opened a new café in the Center Building, and massages were provided by Masseur, Inc. Additionally, MBS Equipment Company was present at the event, distributing their own swag to attendees.

The gathering took place at Cinespace Plaza, where the newly unveiled Honorary Eamonn Walker Way and its commemorative plaque were on display. Eamonn Walker, known for portraying Fire Chief Wallace Boden on Chicago Fire, departed from the show at the end of last season after an impressive 12-year stint.

The celebration, which will likely become an annual event, allowed Cinespace Studios to express their appreciation and offered a great opportunity for cast and crew members to put a pause on their work day and come together to relax and enjoy the festivities.
