As Chicago prepares to host WNBA All-Star Weekend, Just Women’s Sports (JWS) is bringing a packed lineup of fan experiences, live conversations and athlete appearances to the city through a series of events with DoorDash, Chase Freedom and Coach.
Running July 24-25, the programming coincides with JWS’ first marquee activation as an official Emerging Media Partner of the WNBA, a partnership announced ahead of the league’s 30th season. Under the agreement, JWS will distribute WNBA highlights across its digital platforms, collaborate on sponsored content and support league marketing efforts throughout the season.
“WNBA All-Star Weekend has become one of the biggest cultural moments in sports, and we want to bring fans into the action,” said Haley Rosen, founder and CEO of Just Women’s Sports. “From intimate conversations with some of the game’s most influential figures to live shows, player appearances and a packed pregame celebration, we’re creating spaces that reflect the energy, community and momentum surrounding women’s basketball.”
Lisa Leslie returns with “Between the Lines”
On Friday, July 24, JWS will present a live edition of its athlete interview series, Between the Lines with Lisa Leslie, at the Chase Freedom Cashback Courts inside CineCity Studios.
The conversation, scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., promises behind-the-scenes discussions with athletes and personalities shaping today’s women’s basketball landscape.

JWS Spot takes over Bottom Lounge
The centerpiece of the weekend arrives Saturday, July 25, when JWS Spot transforms Bottom Lounge into a free pregame celebration just minutes from the United Center.
Running from 2 to 6 p.m., the event will feature hourly player meet-and-greets, live music, giveaways, interactive experiences, exclusive merchandise and ’90s-inspired surprises before fans head to the WNBA All-Star festivities.
Scheduled appearances include Lexie Hull, Aneesah Morrow, Allie Quigley, NaLyssa Smith, Stef Dolson, along with Court Vision co-hosts Angel McCoughtry and Ros Gold-Onwude.
DoorDash will power the event’s snack wall and coolers while also partnering with JWS on original social content featuring Morrow.
Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans can RSVP here.
Coach celebrates the WNBA’s legacy
Earlier that day, JWS and Coach will host Coach Story Sessions at Offshore Rooftop, bringing together Lisa Leslie and No. 1 overall draft pick Azzi Fudd for a conversation about leadership, authenticity and the WNBA’s 30-year legacy.
JWS will amplify the event through editorial coverage, social video, newsletters and digital content across its platforms.
