Sports fans, it’s time to dust off those antennas! The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) has teamed up with WJYS TV to bring you all the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, and White Sox action live over-the-air (OTA).
Starting October 1, tune in to HD Channels 62.2 and 62.3, which will broadcast full-time CHSN programming across Chicagoland—perfect for those who love their sports and choose to go old-school without cable.
This move is aimed at broadening access to sports fans in the region, particularly the 600,000 Chicago Designated Market Area (DMA) households without pay-TV service. With an OTA antenna, these households can view the games, while those already using an antenna will need to rescan for channels upon CHSN’s launch. Details on antenna installation and channel scanning are available on CHSN’s website.
CHSN’s broadcast lineup includes regular-season games, select preseason and playoff matchups, pre- and postgame shows, sports analysis, and 24/7 multisport programming, all from immersive studios located in the United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field.
The network will launch on October 1, airing Blackhawks and Bulls preseason games, and will begin White Sox game broadcasts in March 2025. Remaining 2024 White Sox games will continue on NBC Sports Chicago until the end of the season.
As a joint venture among the Blackhawks, Bulls, White Sox, and Standard Media, CHSN aims to expand its coverage throughout the Midwest, including parts of Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin, pending league approvals.
