Chicago Fire seeking extras and real firefighters for Season 12

Chicago Fire is actively seeking authentic firefighters hailing from Chicago, its suburbs, and neighboring states for the filming of the Season 12 premiere.

The shoot is scheduled on Monday, December 4 and Wednesday, December 6. The casting team is looking for real firefighters, male and female of all ethnic backgrounds to apply. Chosen firefighters will be part of a thrilling scene for the premiere episode of Season 12.

The production is offering a compensation of $195 for an 8-hour day, along with a $25 specialty bump.

How to apply:

Interested applicants should submit a recent photo in uniform, along with essential details such as height, weight, age, and contact information to CF12extras@gmail.com, using “Real FF 12.4, 12.6” as the subject line. Prior experience on a film set is not a prerequisite, and a meal will be provided during the 12-hour filming day, which may extend further.

Additional roles:

In addition to the casting call for real firefighters for December 4 & 6, they are looking for extras to play Firefighter Officers in a scene on December 7.

African American, Asian, Latino men and women, 40’s to 60’s, men to be clean-shaven (mustache is okay), to play Firefighter Officers on Thursday, Dec. 7th. This is a one-day film date.

You must have a social security card and government ID. This is a paid, non-speaking extra role.

Your picture will be submitted to the director so please send one looking professional wearing a business look. Make sure the photograph is a current representation of your hair color/length/style.

The narrative of Chicago Fire, which now begins its twelfth season, follows the lives of the firefighters and paramedics working at the Chicago Fire Department firehouse of Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 & Battalion 25, as they confront danger head-on. The decisions they make become pivotal, often determining the line between life and death.
