Chicago Fire has wrapped for the season

Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire has wrapped for the season. The cast and crew will be on hiatus for about 8 weeks.

Chicago Fire had a difficult season to get through with a short shut down caused by positive Covid-19 testing, extending their shooting days beyond Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med.

If your’re like me, you’re wondering what some of your favorite people will be doing during their break from filming. I met up with Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella Kidd) and asked her whether she would be working or playing during her time off. Miranda said, “Oh, playing!”

I also asked David Eisenberg (Christopher Herrmann) and David said, “Working… I’ll be building a deck in my backyard.”

This Wednesday night we’ll see episode 21, Last Chance, followed by the big season finale on May 25th. It’s been confirmed that for the finale, we are all invited to the long awaited Stellaride wedding, and the return of Casey, who will attend as promised as Severide’s best man. According to showrunner Derek Haas, this promises to be the top finale yet.

Until then, here’s one of my favorite Stellaride mashups, compliments of NBC.
