Celia Williams is coming back to Chicago. Let’s say it again, Celia is coming back to Chicago. It would seem the only way to bring the veteran producer back to the Windy City, would be a really great job. According to Williams’ Linkedin post, she started at the award-winning creative marketing agency this month. The agency most recently was awarded The State Farm account worth over $600 million last November.
Williams comes to the agency after freelancing in New York for the last couple of years as an Executive Producer at VMLY&R and Virtue. Preceding that, she was Executive Producer at Freefolk.

At Freefolk, Williams spent her introducing the UK based post production company to NYC and the United States. According to her website, the endeavor involved the physical build out and creation of a welcoming comfortable space in Soho for staff and clients, sales and marketing to an environment saturated with well established high end competition, office management and producing of in-house projects. (Color Grading, Final Conform, VFX and Finish.) Freefolk was profitable in its first year.
What Williams will be overseeing at The Marketing Arm remains to be seen, but with her vast talent it will be great.
But Celia Williams is coming back to Chicago. Story is developing…
