Bridgestone claims that its tires are built to deliver a “Clutch Performance,” when it matters most in the real world.

Featuring the latest technologies from the Nashville-based company, the Turanza QuietTrack tire delivers confident control in wet and snow conditions.

According to a statement from Bridgestone, the tire is backed by a best-in-class 80,000 mile limited mileage warranty for long-lasting performance drivers can trust to carry them season after season.

“The Turanza QuietTrack tire is packed with the latest game-changing innovation from Bridgestone,” said Erik Seidel, president, consumer replacement tire sales, U.S. and Canada, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.

He adds, “Based on consumer insights, we know wet, winter and wear performance are the top considerations for drivers purchasing a new set of tires. The Turanza QuietTrack tire exceeds expectations in each of these important attributes, while also providing a comfortable, quiet ride.”

In this spirit, Leo Burnett has dropped a couple of amusing spots that clearly get that message across. Titled, “Hockey Mom” and “Camp” respectively focus on the performance of Bridgestone tires – specifically the durability of Dueler HL Alenza Plus tires and the control of the Turanza QuietTrack tire in unpredictable conditions.

Each spot begins with a tire evaluator telling the audience, “Today, we are going to put Bridgestone Clutch Performance to the test. In the first spot, a mother drives on a winding mountain road to drop her son off at hockey practice. Watch below:

In the other, we meet a dad driving on dirt roads to a summer camp to bring his child a needed stuffed animal.

Bridgestone is also the ‘Official Tire of the NFL.’ Football fans from around the world will descend upon Bridgestone’s home city of Nashville for the upcoming NFL Draft, and the company will leverage the spotlight to debut two new television spots celebrating ‘Clutch Performance’ in the real world during the national telecast.

The company has teamed up with former NFL stars Vince Wilfork and DeAngelo Williams and a legendary Nashville suit designer to pay homage to “Music City’s” classic style during the 2019 NFL Draft on the red carpet.

In addition, the company will be activating on the ground in a variety of ways including out-of-home branding, fan engagement activities, player partnerships, customer programs and employee events.
