Client: Merrick Pet Care
Agency: The Escape Pod, Chicago
Pets make us better people. For lack of a better, term they make us more human. The Escape Pod has created a moving 3:30 Merrick Pet Care. This moving story introduces us to U.S. Army Veteran Randy Dexter, his family, and his service dog Captain. We follow their journey through the K9s For Warriors program. Get the tissue out.

Client: Kellogg’s/ Eggo Waffles
Agency: Leo Burnett, Chicago
Since the dawn of man, okay at least the dawn of this man, Eggo Waffles has positioned itself as the waffle that is so good, you absolutely, 100% won’t share. In fact, it’s a race to get it out of the toaster. Now the brand has twisted things slightly. In a reverse, Burnett has launched a series of :15’s that promote SHARING the 46-year-old frozen waffle.

Client: Matador Network With GoPro
Agency: Women of the Now, Chicago
According to Women of The Now’s Layne Marie Williams, teaming forces with Matador Network and GoPro was one of the most glamorous and enjoyable projects she has produced in a long time. And it shows.

Film: The Equalizer 2
Studio: Sony
Who needs a little Denzel ass-whoopin? I do! Check out this action-packed trailer for The Equalizer 2 which opens later this month.

Film: The Spy Who Dumped Me
Studio: Lionsgate
A couple of years back, Melissa McCarthy had a monster hit poking fun at the spy genre with Spy. Looks like Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon, and Lionsgate hope to do the same with the new, The Spy Who Dumped Me.

Series: Orange is the New Black S6
Network: Netflix
I gotta admit, I’m a little tired of the women of Litchfield. Since S2, Taylor Schilling’s “Chapman” storyline has been a bit of a yawner. However, OITNB continues to be popular and Netflix did drop a new teaser so we would be remiss as to not include it!
