Wood’s “The Door,” Boinski’s “Legit” premiere

BRUCE WOOD’S supernatural mystery “The Door” has its world premiere Jan. 19 at the Beloit International Film Festival in Beloit, Wisc. Wood, the owner of Fenway Gallery, returned to film after decades as a fine art painter.

It’s the story of a dream guide who “loses sight of his mission and plays the role of the genie in the lamp, giving people what they want and causing havoc in their real lives,” Wood said.

It stars Bill Ferris, Katherine Wray, Karla Magnan and Ryan Martin.
