Wisconsin’s first rental complex to open Jan.8

Wisconsin’s burgeoning film industry will get a giant boost when the state’s first and only independent stage rental complex, located in Milwaukee, opens with a gala party Jan. 8.

The floor-to-looming ceiling renovation of two WWII-vintage factory buildings, at a combined 27,000-sq. ft. of space, to create RDI Stages was completed after two years at an investment of $6 million.

RDI Stages consists of two separate buildings located in the residential suburb of St. Francis, a 10-minute ride from heart of downtown Milwaukee, a few blocks from the lake and a 10-minute drive to Mitchell Field.
