At the Windy City West party hosted by Brenda Sexton earlier this month, some 400 strong Chicago natives — those with area ties and some who flew out especially for the party — chowed down Chicago food faves, drank and connected with each other socially and for business.
One of those guests who connected was cinematographer Paolo Cascio (not pictured), a Northwest Side native who’s been successfully working in L.A. for 20 years.
He told Sexton, “I already have two projects in the works because of the networking that went on Monday night. Thanks again for the wonderful party.” Says Sexton, “Doing business with fellow Chicagoans and taking that business back home has always been the purpose of the party ? and it works.”
