Some 300 guests are expected to attend WIF’s fifth annual Focus Awards Oct. 14 at the Mart Plaza Hotel, when Ch. 11 producer Jamie Ceaser and broadcaster/activist Merri Dee will be honored, along with Chicago native Raquel Welch, the national honoree.
“They are distinguished women who have made a significant contribution and impact in the evolving content creation industry, said WIF president Megan Vidis.
“The Focus Awards is our premiere fund-raiser of the year, supporting all of our educational-networking programs throughout the year that help drive the advancement of women in our industry,” she said.
