White Sox continue “It’s Better at the Ballpark” campaign for 2025

White Sox

Spring is here and so is baseball season — and the Chicago White Sox are hoping fans return to Guaranteed Rate Field not just for the action on the field, but for the full ballpark experience. At this year’s Media Day, the team pulled back the curtain on an updated team store, exciting new food offerings, and one of their most robust promotional giveaway calendars yet.

The 2025 season builds on last year’s “Better at the Ballpark” motto with a renewed focus on the fan experience. From reimagined concessions to exclusive merch drops, the White Sox are delivering reasons beyond wins and losses to head to 35th & Shields.

The team store has received a major facelift under new operator Fanatics. Along with a more efficient checkout experience, fans can browse refreshed merchandise celebrating the franchise’s 125th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the 2005 World Series title. Expect plenty of nostalgic touches — from throwback Starter jackets to vintage-inspired tees and caps.

Sox Charities Launches Diamond Impact Awards

White Sox Senior Director of Community Relations Sarah LaPorta also shared updates on Sox Charities. In addition to ongoing support of the Amateur City Elite (ACE) youth baseball program, the team is introducing the Diamond Impact Awards this season — a new initiative awarding $125,000 grants to local nonprofits. Recipients will be announced in May.

Food Highlights: From Fuku to Cake Shakes

The ballpark menu is getting an upgrade, with fan favorites and adventurous new options alike. Section 154 is now home to Lucky’s, a revamped stand serving up Korean Corn Dogs, Bubble Waffles, and Lucky’s Noodles — a nod to nearby Chinatown’s culinary influence. Section 110 welcomes Fuku, offering their famous chicken tenders and sandwiches.

On the Club Level, guests can enjoy a variety of deli sandwiches, veggie-forward salads, and decadent brisket cheese curds. And yes, the dessert game is strong: while the beloved Campfire Milkshake wowed last year, the new Celebration Cake Shake might just steal the spotlight, blending birthday cake ice cream, confetti cake, whipped cream, and a pinwheel cookie. Club Level guests can also try Strawberry Cream Nachos — cinnamon sugar chips topped with strawberry salsa and whipped cream.

Giveaways Galore: Jerseys, Bobbleheads, and Blanket Nights

The promotional calendar is as packed as ever. Opening Day kicks off with a 125th Anniversary Plush Blanket, while the season wraps with a Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day celebration and limited-edition hockey jersey.

Fan-favorite theme nights return — including the annual Hawaiian Shirt Night, this year with a 2005 World Series twist, and a unique 1980s Sweater Vest Giveaway. Also new in 2025 is the Sunday Bobblehead Collector’s Series, featuring Charles Comiskey, Ray Durham, Luis Aparicio, Ozzie Guillén, Ken Griffey Jr., and a four-pitcher 2005 rotation bobblehead (Mark Buehrle, Jon Garland, Freddy García, and José Contreras).

Expect regular promotions like $5 Tuesdays, Friday Night Fireworks, and Family Sundays to bring affordable fun throughout the season.

Come for the Fun (Even If the Wins Don’t Follow)

After a tough 2024, the White Sox are hoping fans stay loyal by leaning into what truly makes a day at the ballpark special: friends, food, and summer vibes. Whether you’re coming for the giveaways, the milkshakes, or the chance to snag a cheap seat with your crew, the message is clear — being at the ballpark still means something.
