Weiss steps out of rep role to produce doc pilot about superstar female impersonator and friends

Nikki Weiss, the hard-working rep for A-list production companies and directors, has become executive producer of a documentary that she’s wanted to make for nine years.

The show is tentatively called “The Baton,” as in The Baton Show Lounge, where stylishly coiffed female impersonators on silver stilettos have entertained predominantly straight audiences for 36 years.

Weiss has been the manager and friend of beautiful Mimi Marks, a Baton performer and now superstar by virtue of having been recently crowned Miss International Queen in the world pageant?the transgender equivalent of Miss Universe?held in Pattaya, Thailand.

The 15-minute “Baton” trailer follows four performers who live as women and two who live as men outside the club, and Baton club owner Jim Flint.
