Yep, of course we are thankful for our family, our friends, our co-workers, our advertisers and readers, but we are particularly thankful this year for the amazing people listed below.
A year ago today the Reel Chicago and Reel 360 websites were hit with a malicious malware attack that took over our websites. After fighting an exhausting battle to recover, we realized the only option was to move our sites to a more secure, and very costly hosting company.
But we had not won the battle yet. The sites needed to be updated and we were hit with the additional expense of rebuilding both sites on a new platform. This surely was not in our budget. Covid and the strikes have hit us hard.
We were only able to accomplish this because of you.
The REEL is forever indebted to those who made donations and offered technical support. We would not have made it this year without you pulling us through the worst of times, and without your continued support.
