Vince Cook joins
as Executive Creative
Director, Austin Scott
Laughlin Constable has bolstered its creative department by adding two senior leaders. The moves come eight months after Lisa Bennett took over as CCO.
The agency announced that talented Vince Cook (top left) joins as Executive Creative Director, working across multiple accounts, including Yuengling, Fleet Farm, Byrider, Jewelers Mutual and new business initiatives.
“Vince is passionate, talented and has a unique perspective on life. He’s exactly the kind of creative talent we need to help take LC to the next level,” Bennett said in a statement.
Cook comes to LC from Energy BBDO, where he led SC Johnson brands in more than 90 markets and oversaw a group of six global creative shops. Prior, he served as SVP, Creative Director at Leo Burnett, where he led a global rebranding for Samsung, including the Cannes Lions-winning “Do What You Can’t” campaign.
He has also worked with McDonald’s, creating the iconic sundial billboard, and United Healthcare. He was named to Adweek’s Creative 100 list in 2017.
Outside of advertising, Cook teaches art and design, and builds and designs homes. He’s also a fan of the outdoors, from fly fishing and deep sea fishing to back country hiking, cross country skiing and kayaking.
A former Eagle Scout, he volunteers at Off the Street Club.
Also joining the agency is Austin Scott (top right), Digital Creative Director, digital from EP+Co. “Austin brings a wealth of digital knowledge and a wide range of category experience to LC. He likes to say he’s one part creative and two parts mad scientist, which is just the kind of innovative thinking we value,” says Lisa.
Austin has worked at agencies from coast to coast including FCB West, Leo Burnett, Euro RSCG, Energy BBDO and most recently EP&Co in South Carolina. With a background in digital and social, he’s worked on clients such as Bud Light, Lenovo, Pearle Vision, Verizon, Ziploc, Raid and The UPS Store.
