Ulta low-budget indie now casting, hiring

MARIO BUCCA is writer-producer-director of the romantic thriller “And They Call It Puppy Love,” shooting in late November and December.

“It’s about “gays, guns and gangsters.” Two men “begin an unlikely romance, neither suspects that lies, deception, and murder may tear them apart,” says Bucca, a USC grad, who lived in Beijing before moving to Chicago in 2008.

A key PA for Harpo Productions, he’s also worked for the STYLE Network, Towers Productions, and rVibe. Production manager is Bucca’s USC classmate Michelle Himsalam, a PA for Kurtis Productions, who also worked for Towers.

They’re still casting and hiring key crew for the ultra-low budget feature. Email atcipl.film@gmail.com.
