Trio Video’s Roszczybiuk joins JFS fiber solutions

Engineering director Carl Roszczybiuk

Trio Video’s long-time director of engineering, Carl Roszczybiuk, who left the company when it was recently acquired by NEP Broadcasting, has joined Niles-based JFS in the new position of director of engineering, heading a department of 11.

At JFS, he will provide additional product line management and development of JFS’ new “JFS Fiber Caddie Series,” a complete remote production solution to improve a package or a complete system solution.

In addition, he will be involved in JFS’ CIER (Custom Innovative Engineering Resources) series of unique infrastructure solutions, designed to address specific industry needs and enhance system design.

Initial CIER offerings will be exhibited at InfoComm12 in Las Vegas, June 9-15.

During Roszczybiuk’s 24 year tenure at Trio Video, Trio became one of the premiere video mobile units in the Midwest, broadcasting local and national music and sporting events. He was directly responsible for designing and building several of Trio Video’s analog and HD trucks that are still in operation.

Earlier Roszczybiuk was chief engineer at WSNS-TV.
