National entertainment law firm Leavens, Strand & Glover announced today that Travis Life has been named a partner in the Chicago office.
Life represents artists and arts-related businesses in drafting and negotiating entertainment agreements, managing intellectual property, and in litigating complex matters. He handles the formation of a variety of multimedia entities, including music marketing companies, music management businesses and production companies, as well as manages intellectual property and its enforcement for music artists, media companies, and record labels.

Life is a recognized name in the entertainment law community, having led numerous entertainment law groups and frequently presented on various entertainment topics. He is also an Adjunct Professor at DePaul College of Law teaching entertainment law.
The firm now has nine attorneys in Chicago and Nashville, comprised of seven partners and two of counsel.
In August, Teresa Rodriguez also joined the firm as a paralegal. Teresa has extensive experience negotiating contracts and licensing agreements in the film, television, and music industries from her years as clearance supervisor for the Steve Harvey daytime talk show and as senior media licensing coordinator for The Oprah Winfrey Show.
