Tosh & Team return to “Jerseylicious”

Catching up with Misty Tosh is always a lot of fun as you never know where in the world (literally) the peripatetic producer might turn up these days.

Tosh’s current gig as executive in charge of production finds her in L.A. working on pre-pro on “Jerseylicious,” Endemol USA’s hit reality docu-soap show, now ramping up for its second season on the Style Network.

“We’re super excited to be headed back to New Jersey with our fave folks from Chicago,” says Tosh of her Fatcake Productions crew: production manager Lisa Colangelo, DP Kuba Zelazek, Chezne McArthur, production coordinator and Jamie Biehl, field coordinator.

Tosh & Team will return to New Jersey June 1 to shoot the next 10 “Jerseylicious” episodes until mid-August. The series follows the lives of Jersey Girl hair stylists in and out of their high-profile Gatsby salon in Green Brook, N.J.

“Everything is edited back in L.A., with 12 editors going at once when we’re out filming,” Tosh says of the process.

Three-time Emmy winner Alex Duda is “Jerseylicious” executive producer. Endemol USA, the biggest reality production company in the world, produces “Big Brother,” “Deal or No Deal,” and “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” among it 40,000 hours of global programming a year.

Last year, Tosh and Colangelo worked for Endemol USA on the 10-episode “Southern Belles” reality show, shot in Kentucky and finished in L.A. It ran on Disney-owned SoapNet.
