Three primetime Emmys for Siskel/Jacobs

THREE PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS went to Siskel/Jacobs Productions for its two-hour documentary, “102 Minutes that Changed America,” that reconstructed, in real time, the events of 9/11 in New York, using only sound and video from that historic morning.

The presentations were made at the Creative Arts Emmy ceremony Sept. 12 at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre.

The doc won Emmys in three of the four categories for which it was nominated: Outstanding Nonfiction Special (Greg Jacobs and Jon Siskel, executive producers; Susan Werbe, executive producer for history; Nicole Rittenmeyer, producer); Outstanding Sound Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Seth Skundrick); and Outstanding Sound Mixing for Nonfiction Programming (Damon Trotta).
