The IFA is looking for assistance on their move into AbelCine

As we reported earlier in the week, the Illinois Film Alliance (IFA) is partnering with, and moving into, the AbelCine space on the Cinespace Chicago Film Studios lot, as they collaborate on The Hub @Cinespace for Indie filmmakers.

If you are interested in lending a hand in the move, they are asking for help in the IFA weekly newsletter:

We’re partnering with AbelCine to collaborate on the development of a community space on the Cinespace Chicago lot. Programming will address the business, creative, and technical aspects of independent production. We will both focus on developing the potential of local independent producers and filmmakers and introducing them to emerging techniques.

We are looking for volunteers to help us pack and move from our current office to our new one just one building over.

If you are available on Wed., Aug. 25 and/or Thurs. Aug. 26 to help pack & move (and would like a first look at our new space), please email Natalia at natalia@ifachicago.org. Please indicate whether you are able help in the morning, afternoon, or both.
