The amazing team at 4 Star Casting is preparing for the start up of The Bear. The cast and crew will return for the filming of the remaining episodes of Season 4 beginning February 25, 2025.
We’re reposting their casting call for extras in the role of “Theatre Attendees” for the start up of filming.
If you’re a fan of The Bear and live in the Chicago area, and are able to make the commitment for a full day of filming, here’s what you need to know:

Entertainment Partners, the parent company of the POP platform—NOW KNOWN AS the EP Casting Portal—that we use at 4 Star Casting, has sent an email stating that you must reset your password and set up two-step authentication.
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) will be required for all users accessing the 4 Star Casting EP Casting Portal!
What You Need to Do:
Beginning December 14th, you must reset your password and set up MFA on your mobile device before logging in to the platform. Step-by-step instructions can be found at ep.com/mfa/castingportal/
You’ll need to log in with a new code from the APP each time you go on to the EP CASTING PORTAL. While we realize this is not the most convenient method, MFA enhances security and reduces the risk of unauthorized access by providing an extra layer of protection.
A dedicated support team is standing by to help you 24/7 should you need assistance. Hit the Contact Button and select “Crew, Talent and Background Support.” If you follow the prompts, you will find a phone number to call if you are having technical issues. Please email us at 4starcasting@gmail.com if you have exhausted all other attempts, and still can’t log into the EP CASTING PORTAL.
If more manageable, visit our website at 4starcasting.com, then hit the “Log into the EP Casting Portal” tab. If you hover over the tab, you will also see an “MFA Instruction Page” to assist you. Downloading the suggested APP PingID to your phone is the easiest method.
Please don’t create another profile on the platform. We will not know which account you can access, and you will miss out on casting opportunities.
If you already have an updated profile on the EP CASTING PORTAL for 4 Star Casting, you may continue with the submission email.
Send an email to extras4thebear@gmail.com with the role “THEATER ATTENDEE” in the subject line:
1) Confirm you have updated your Profile on the EP CASTING PORTAL and have enabled MFA authentication.
2) Confirm you are a local to the Chicagoland area. Production will not pay for any travel or lodging.
3) Include the following information: Name, phone, email, zip code, and a photo of your current look for quick reference.
4) Indicate your mode of transportation, i.e. Uber, Bus, Own Vehicle, etc.
5) Confirm your availability to work on Wednesday, 02/26/25.
We will contact you via the EP CASTING PORTAL if you are in consideration for the role. You will receive an official availability check email and must complete all the questions attached.
