In light of worldwide health concerns, this year’s Chicago ScreenCraft Writers Summit is rescheduling to next year. Previously scheduled in Chicago on April 24th-27th, 2020, the Summit will be rescheduled to April 23rd-26th, 2021.

Nearly all of the previously confirmed panelists have enthusiastically committed to next year, and additional industry speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

With sponsors including the Writers Guild Foundation, Final Draft, and the Chicago Film Office, there is a wonderful creative community surrounding the event.

“The Summit has always been an unforgettable experience.  We’re taking this additional time to build a bigger 2021 event with even higher-level panelists, dedicated networking, and inspirational panels like never before,” said ScreenCraft Writers Summit Director Emily Dell.

Attendee’s badges will automatically be transferred to next year’s event.

As it has in all previous years, the conference is expected to sell out.
