Alex LeMay’s personal bullfighting documentary, “The Bulls of Suburbia,” was picked up for worldwide video distribution by Echelon Entertainment, which will release it Dec. 19 through Netflix, along with foreign sales to third-party distributors and releasing through major national retailers.
“I always said that the company that picks this up would be a brave company,” said LeMay of Taproot Productions.
“Bulls of Suburbia” enjoyed is share of controversy during its healthy festival run. It earned barbs from animal rights advocates for its celebration of bullfighting?blood and all.
