“Swear Jar” is quite an achievement

The winning of Bud Light/DDB’s “Swear Jar” as “Outstanding Commercial” at the 60th Creative Arts Emmy Awards dispensed Sept. 14 at the Nokia theatre in L.A. was particularly a heady prize.

For one, the Chicago-created commercial stood alone among the 75 TV shows, actors and technical that achieved Emmy stardom (take that, New York and L.A.!) and for another, it’s viral.

Yes, that single, shiny outstanding commercial has never aired on TV, although it has enjoyed more than 12 million internet views.
