Skokie-based Simage video placement expands

Simage Network is bringing new video content to approximately 25 local club and restaurant venues, including the marquis screen outside Excalibur nightclub, through a deal with Ala Carte Entertainment.

The two-year-old Simage produces, commissions and purchases ad-supported video that it supplies to entertainment establishments free of charge. The Ala Carte deal ups Simage’s presence to 75 venues in the Chicago area.

“A hundred thousand people see [the Excalibur screen] a day,” says Simage executive producer David Wallach. In addition to an estimated one million views a month at its other venues, “that’s 4.5 million viewers a month,” Wallach says, “bigger than some networks out there.”

Skokie-headquartered Simage is collaborating with inVision Marketing Group, a division of Southern Wine and Spirits, to bring Simage content to the powerhouse beverage distributor’s venues across the southern U.S.

Simage will carry branded inVision content across its programming network. “They can help us with introductions” to venues, Wallach says. “Our plan is to grow along with them.
