SG+ Reps hosts 2nd Annual SG Fam Fest to celebrate its roster

Sarah Gitersonke, founder of SG+ Reps, brought together her diverse roster of world class directorial, VFX, photography, editorial, animation + design talent for the 2nd annual SG Fam Fest at District Brew Yards. The casual gathering is designed to showcase the ‘family’ she represents, and foster connections between agencies and production partners.

Unlike industry-wide mixers, SG Fam Fest creates a chance for the agencies and creative talent that Sarah works with to meet, mingle, and kick back in a relaxed setting. Despite the chilly spring weather, agency creatives and producers from Abelson Taylor, BarkleyOKRP, BVK, Cramer Krasselt, Dentsu, Edelman, OMNICOM, FCB, Havas, Highdive, VML, Ogilvy, and The Kitchen / Kraft were on hand to network and celebrate.

The District Brew Yards, a unique Chicago venue, created the perfect casual backdrop, featuring a ‘pour your own beer’ hall with four breweries and 40 drafts, plus specialty smoked meats. A classic Chicago hot dog truck and the YumDum food truck were also on site, adding a fun, neighborhood vibe.

This year’s SG Fam Fest was especially notable as SG+ Reps recently added Chicago post house Optimus and One at Optimus to its roster, allowing for bundled production and post options on Midwest projects. Other rostered companies include Los York, Easy Mondays, The Garage, Company Films, Tinygiant, Quriosity, Thinking Machine, Laird + Good Co, Late Shift, 34 North, The Embassy VFX, and 21 South Music.

More than just a party, SG Fam Fest is a reflection of the strong relationships Sarah Gitersonke has built in Chicago’s commercial production scene — bringing her ‘family’ together to connect, collaborate, and look ahead to a busy summer.
