A new production company with “a healthy roster of clients” is bravely opening at a time when less intrepid producers are looking for another line of work.?
Director Michael Huxley and producer Steve Cudzillo started Brave World Productions in offices above Steve Ford Music studios at 506 N. Clark St.
Their new company kicks off with production of a 12-part The Street Cop Police Training Series, followed by a Food Network segment “and lots of original programming,” said Huxley.
Their two associates are John Michaels, former visual supervisor for Swell’s Bazooka graphics division, who brings his Photokulture company to the mix, and Richard Lederer, who joins as a producer and AD when he finishes an AD stint on the “Surviving Christmas” feature.
Huxley has been a segment producer and action sports shooter for sports networks. Cudzillo comes from the advertising side; he worked as an associate producer at Komnenich Films as an associate producer.
