Selz warns of his “extremely violent” feature

“SATANIC PANIC,” Marc Selz’ documentary-style horror feature, won’t make it into the theatres for Halloween, but it will have a world premiere Nov. 28 at the Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling.

Selz cautions that extremely violent “Satanic Panic” is for “the hardcore, hard edge horror fans,” but having issued that warning, nonetheless hopes to fill the house.

Karl Sundstrom is scoring, and Jeff Taylor of Taylor Studios in Milwaukee is color correcting and finishing. VFX and titles by Chris Altenmeier. Selz shot “Panic,” his third feature, over two summers in Rochelle.

Selz’ previous thriller “Rockville Slayer” was recently re-released in a two-DVD package with “The Dark Hours,” a sci-fi thriller from director Wil Zmak. See
