Ed McCulloch, a seasoned commercial director, has signed with SEED Media Arts for US Commercial Representation. Based in Utah, Ed weaves his role as a husband, father, and nature enthusiast into his directorial work, showcasing a wide range of capabilities in his portfolio.
Whether it’s the coming-of-age story of a young cowboy, a JEEP ripping through the backcountry of Utah, or the moment when someone brings a significant other to meet family for the first time, Ed has a way of defining small moments that make us feel alive.

Having been impacted by a challenging upbringing and a need to leave home at the age of 16, Ed has a focus on family values and the work ethic to match. By way of taking any job he could get as a teenager, Ed eventually found his way to an Executive Creative Director position for NordicTrack, ProForm and Gold’s Gym. This experience catapulted him into the path of filmmaking and the realization of a passion for directing spots that exhibit real emotion.
Roy Skillicorn, founder of Seed, explains “His perspective originates from his upward climb, unique history, extensive world travel, and an inspired way of living. The culmination of these things shows up in his portfolio over and over.”

Ed is an avid skier, runner, and bicyclist, and has worked with some of the world’s leading brands including Google, Ford, KIA, Wrangler, Ikea, Hyundai and Oakley. His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including AICP, Ciclope, ShootEPICA, YDA Cannes, Shoot Magazine New Director Showcase.
