Discover the next generation of filmmakers. CineYouth is Cinema/Chicago’s annual film festival for filmmakers 22-years-old and younger from around the world. All CineYouth events are free and open to the public.
CineYouth presents 65 short films across 10 programming blocks featuring everything from uproarious comedies to depictions of activism in action to highlights from the Chicagoland area. Plus, CineYouth features two workshops focused on activism in film and creative collaboration through editing, live filmmaker Q&As, and more!

In-person screenings for this year’s CineYouth at FACETS Chicago will include post-film Q&As with filmmakers.
CineYouth film programs will also be available to stream globally for free from Monday, April 24 at 12:00pm CT until Sunday, April 30 at 11:59pm CT. You can watch the whole program from home!
