The best the best of Chicago theatre will be recognized Oct. 29 at the 39th Annual Jeff Awards at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie.
Winners will be announced from among 154 nominees in 30 categories, ranging from play production to cameo roles, from scenic design to incidental music.
Several nominees will compete with themselves by having appeared in more than one production in the same nominated category.
“We’re planning a gala celebration of the amazing productions and talented artists who give Chicago theatre its well-deserved national reputation,” says Equity Chair Diane Hires.
